The standard we hold.

Youth sports work when everyone — parents, players, and guests — holds the same standard. These agreements apply at every practice, game, and league event. You’ll acknowledge them during registration.

Parent / Guardian Code of Conduct

All The Way Flag Football, Inc. — Y1S1 (Spring 2027)

Youth sports work when the adults keep it about the kids. By registering your player, you agree to the following for the full season, including practices, games, and playoff events.

Sideline behavior

  1. Cheer positively for all players on the field — yours, theirs, everyone’s.
  2. Never yell at, argue with, or approach a referee, coach, or opposing player — during or after a game.
  3. Do not coach from the sideline. Sideline instruction that contradicts the team’s coaches confuses young players. Let the coaches coach.
  4. No profanity, taunting, or demeaning language toward anyone at any league event.

The 24-hour rule

  1. If something bothers you — playing time, a call, a coaching decision — wait 24 hours before raising it. Then bring it directly and privately to the head coach, calmly and respectfully. Never confront a coach on the field or in front of players.

Sportsmanship

  1. Model grace in winning and losing. Your player is watching how you handle both.
  2. Your child’s experience comes before adult ambitions. Keep it fun — that’s why they’re here.

Facility compliance

  1. Follow the league’s Field & Facility Conduct Agreement below — it applies to every family member and guest you bring.

Enforcement

Violations are handled by the league board at its discretion, and may result in:

  • Verbal warning
  • Suspension from attending one or more games
  • Removal from the season without refund (serious or repeated violations)

The board’s decision is final.

You’ll acknowledge this code of conduct during registration — no printing or signing needed.

Player Code of Conduct

All The Way Flag Football, Inc. — Y1S1 (Spring 2027)

This league exists so kids can play hard, have fun, and learn the game. Flag football is a non-contact sport — the rules below protect that. By playing, you agree to follow them at every practice, game, and league event.

Play the right way

  1. Give your best effort — run every play, finish every drill, stay with your team until the final whistle.
  2. Play by the rules. No tackling, shoving, grabbing, or tripping. If you don’t know whether it’s legal, ask your coach before you do it.
  3. Pull flags, not players. Contact that would be a foul in flag football is never “just competing.”
  4. Protect yourself and others — no leading with your head, no diving at knees, no horse-collar flag pulls.

Respect everyone on the field

  1. Respect your coaches — listen when they talk, run the plays they call, and never argue with them on the field.
  2. Respect the refs. Their call stands, even when you’re sure they’re wrong. Your coach handles disputes, not you.
  3. Respect opponents. No trash talk, taunting, or showboating. Shake hands after the game — win or lose.
  4. Respect your teammates. Encourage, don’t blame. Nobody gets better being yelled at by a teammate.

Words and behavior

  1. No profanity, insults, or bullying — on the field, on the sideline, or in any league chat or group message.
  2. If a teammate is struggling, help them up. That’s what teams do.

Enforcement

Violations are handled by the head coach and the league board at their discretion, and may result in:

  • Verbal warning and a sideline conversation
  • Sitting out for the remainder of a game
  • Suspension from one or more games
  • Removal from the season without refund (serious or repeated violations — fighting, bullying, intentional dangerous contact)

A parent or guardian is notified at every step. The board’s decision is final.

Players acknowledge this code of conduct during registration (a parent/guardian countersigns for players under 13) — no printing or signing needed.

Field & Facility Conduct Agreement

All The Way Flag Football, Inc. — Y1S1 (Spring 2027)

Our games are played on City of Tracy park fields permit pending. Keeping our permits — and our welcome — depends on every family treating the facilities right. This agreement applies to everyone at every league event: players, parents, siblings, guests, coaches, and volunteers.

Fields & park areas

  1. Stay in our permitted areas. Warm-ups and free play happen only in your team’s designated area — keep off fields not assigned to the league.
  2. Spectators stay behind the designated spectator line at all times. Only rostered coaches, players, and refs inside the team area. No one enters the field of play during a game until play is stopped and a coach or ref waves you in.
  3. No staking, digging, or altering the fields. No personal tents or canopies staked into the turf without league approval.
  4. Only coaches move league equipment (pylons, goals, benches). Don’t hang on the goals or drag the pylons around.
  5. Report damage to a board member immediately — don’t try to fix it yourself, and don’t hide it.
  6. Drones and personal filming equipment stay off the field. Team photos happen from the sideline.

Cleanliness

  1. Pack in, pack out. Leave every field cleaner than you found it — all trash goes in the bins or in your bag.
  2. Use park trash and recycling bins; if they’re full, take your trash with you.

Parking & access

  1. Park only in designated lots and marked spaces. Never on grass, sidewalks, or fire lanes. Don’t block gates, driveways, or emergency access.
  2. Follow all posted park signage and directions from league field staff.
  3. Keep noise reasonable — no air horns, no amplified music without board approval.

Prohibited at all league events

  1. No smoking, vaping, or tobacco — city park rules, no exceptions.
  2. No alcohol, drugs, or illegal substances at any league event.
  3. Dogs stay home (service animals excepted) — league policy for youth game days.

Weather & emergencies

  1. Lightning or severe weather: everyone clears the field immediately and shelters in vehicles. Play resumes only when the board gives the all-clear.
  2. First aid is available at the league tent on game days. In a real emergency, call 911 first, then notify a board member.
  3. Coaches hold emergency contact and medical info for players — keep it current.

Damages & enforcement

  1. Families are financially responsible for damage they or their guests cause to park property, league equipment, or another family’s property — including any city fines that result.
  2. Violations may result in a warning, removal from the day’s event, or removal from the season without refund, at the board’s discretion. Serious violations (property damage, illegal substances) will be referred to park authorities. The board’s decision is final.
You’ll acknowledge this agreement during registration — no printing or signing needed.
